Eyes on the Rainforest: Natural Richness in Colombia
July 12, 2006/Summit, NJ -- domogallery and Fragmento Corporation are pleased to announce the second annual exhibition of images and sounds from the Colombian rainforest, “Eyes on the Rainforest.” The focus of this project is to engage and inspire children and adults with the splendor of Colombia’s biodiversity.
Fragmento Corporation is a grass-roots non-profit organization promoting natural and cultural resources, conservation and sustainable development through research and education.
“Eyes” will be open from July 17-29, 2006; with an Opening Celebration Saturday, July 22 from 5-8 pm. Exhibit is free. A children’s workshop, “Artistic Exploration of the Rainforest,” runs Saturday July 22 9am-12 & 1-4 pm and Saturday July 29 9am-12 & 1-4 pm. $25 admission per child/session.
This year, the exhibition will show case 6 photographers from Colombia. It will also include a presentation of Fragmento´s general activities. The exhibit will also take place during the celebration of Colombian independence.
